Senior HR Manager London

Are you a permanent Senior HR Manager with a passion for working in the non-profit sector? Would you like the opportunity to work for an international charity, offering hybrid working?

This international non-profit organisation aims to set standards for sustainable fishing around the world. Their vision is for the world’s oceans to be teeming with life, and seafood supplies safeguarded for now and future generations. They work with over 400 fisheries worldwide and seafood products labelled from their sustainability program are now available in over 100 countries.

The organisation goes into the office 50% of the time and is located close to Blackfriars and Farringdon.

This permanent Senior HR Manager role paying up to £55,000, will provide HR generalist support to the UK and Asia Pacific regions. You will provide advice and guidance to managers, employees and deliver strategic objectives. The Senior HR Manager will be the primary contact on recruitment, payroll, employee relations issues and other operational provisions for the UK and Asia Pacific Regions.

A few of the key responsibilities include:

  • Build and manage effective relationships within your regions of responsibility, and across the organisation, ensuring you are a trusted partner with your key stakeholders
  • Identify and develop HR specific policies ensuring they meet the needs and culture of the organisation.
  • Lead on Employee Relations policy-related matters to line managers, particularly around flexible working requests, grievances and disciplinaries.
  • Advise managers on employment legislation and terms and conditions of employment as appropriate.
  • Keep the recruitment process under review and develop and maintain the hiring process ensuring it is efficient, effective and encourages a diverse selection of applicants.
  • Responsible for ensuring HR compliance in the UK and Asia Pacific regions e.g. immigration, outsourced payrolls, GDPR.
  • Identify, design and deliver HR related workshops on such topics as recruitment, managing performance, managing sickness absence etc.

This exciting Senior HR Manager job would suit a CIPD qualified candidate with a commercial mindset. It would be advantageous to have previous experience of writing and introducing global policies and processes, along with good knowledge of employment legislation particularly in the UK, but also internationally as well.
